APJCC Preschool – Starting as early as 18 months old

APJCC Preschool, where your child’s journey can begin as early as 18 mo and continue through 5 years old. We have a variety of enrollment options spanning from 7:30 in the morning to 5:30 pm, including a full-day TK option.

We believe that play is the work of children. Our exceptional educators are masters at encouraging children to wonder, question, and build ideas about the world around them. Through play, children explore the world and form connections and relationships between people and objects in their environment. These connections and relationships are the basis of more formal education and academic learning in the future.

Additionally, Preschool students can take advantage of our extracurricular enrichment programs – movement, robotics, world languages, music, and more!

Our preschool staff leads with experience and heart. Nearly half of our educators have been supporting children’s development here at the APJCC preschool for a decade or more. Our teachers participate in ongoing professional development, honing their knowledge and practice through learning and mentorship.

Our diverse community welcomes families and faculty of any faith or background. Throughout the year, our curriculum is rooted in rich Jewish culture, celebrations, and values, which promote kindness, caring for the world and the people around us, and inclusivity. These values do not stop at the preschool door; the entire APJCC community is inclusive to all abilities throughout campus.

We are dedicated to navigating children’s growth and development. Our Transitional Kindergarten program is open to all children who are 4 by September 1st, and offers a best-in-class curriculum that is age-appropriate and robust, preparing children for kindergarten and beyond in all developmental domains. Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, we are implementing a nationally recognized integrated STEAM learning program, an expanded literacy program with our “buddy readers club” Led by K through 8th-grade students, and weekly in-class exposure to spoken Hebrew.

We pride ourselves in our supportive and welcoming parent community. Experience it for yourself! Schedule a tour to come by and visit our magical classroom environments, meet our friendly teaching staff, and build relationships to last a lifetime.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the APJCC Preschool.
