ToughAgers: furthering our fitness education

Some of the APJCC instructors and trainers have invested their time and effort into furthering their fitness education. They have equipped themselves with valuable knowledge and skills specific to older adult fitness with the ToughAgers workshop!

ToughAgers is a 6-hour interactive course that provides the tools you need to teach a safe and effective active older adult fitness class and training session.

Exercise is for everyone and seniors are no exception.  The body will do what it is trained to do so let’s train seniors so their bodies will function optimally.  Just like all other age groups, seniors need:  cardio, balance, resistance, core, and flexibility training.  Let’s provide a fun, supportive, and social environment for them to do so.   

With this comprehensive training, our team is adept at tailoring workouts and creating personalized fitness plans that are safe, effective, and enjoyable for older adults. Our instructors and trainers continuously strive to improve, ensuring that our gym remains an inclusive and supportive environment for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
