The APJCC Preschool Creative Canvas gallery showing will be available for viewing through May 31st, 2023 in the APJCC Art Gallery Hallway. These pieces will be available for silent auction bidding the first week in June.
Our APJCC Preschool believes that young children learn through hands-on experience and open-ended exploration. And that is just what they showed us at last week’s 2023 Preschool Art Exhibition.
Each class created a collaborative layered canvas using a variety of methods and mediums as a visual representation of our philosophy.
At the opening reception last week, children proudly escorted their families through the gallery and beamed as they explained their class piece.
Also featured, Art Through the Years photo collages of APJCC Preschool students participating in various art activities for the past 16 years!
The art exhibit gave parents, grandparents, and community members the opportunity to look closely at the work of our preschool children. For many of them, this led to an understanding of the intentionality involved in group projects as well as the rich learning that takes place for children.
