Support the APJCC

Dear APJCC Friends,

As we weather the ongoing shelter-in-place guidelines and manage the strains of physical distancing, we’ve heard from many of you about the significant impact the pandemic is having on your lives. All of us at the APJCC share your concern for our community’s health and well-being. We are committed to supporting our community partners and families to ease the burden and to keep our community safe and resilient.

To do that, we need your help!

Here’s how your donations make all the difference in helping our community get through this crisis. Your support enables us to:

Re-imagine community connection with direct phone, digital, video and social media outreach to APJCC members, families, youth and teen participants, and the older adult friends who need us now more than ever. The APJCC provides connection to the community for those who are sheltering in place. We’re offering programs for every life stage, from in-person and virtual early childhood and parenting classes, to the newly established JBuddies program that provides older adults with a phone buddy to check in on them regularly.

Serve community-wide needs by providing additional scholarships for those in need of access to APJCC programs and services, and by maintaining our connection to key city, county, and public health agencies so that our Community Center can help address critical needs should they arise.

Support the staff working for our community by helping to provide financial security and health benefits for APJCC employees. We cannot predict how soon we will be able to return to full operations. In the meantime, with your support, our staff will be able to continue working and unleash their best creative selves for the community’s collective benefit. Our team is already doing incredible work to…

Prepare for a robust re-opening of all our programs and services as soon as officials deem it safe to do so.

With your generous support, our APJCC community of families and friends will emerge from this crisis stronger and healthier than ever.

Thank you. We are in this together!

In appreciation,
