We Look Forward to Helping Your Child Grow
Thank you for your interest in the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center (APJCC) and our preschool program. We look forward to helping your child grow in all areas of development. In working toward this goal, we follow developmentally appropriate practices in a play-based program that helps children grow in all developmental areas — social, emotional, cognitive, language and motor. Our program is grounded in Jewish values and tradition, and embraces families from all backgrounds.
We welcome children from 18 months to 5 years old. Preschool is five days a week, for half day or full day. Toilet training is not required.
We also offer Transitional Kindergarten for children who will be turning 5 years old by January 31.
We currently expect to start preschool on time for Fall 2020. You can view the preschool calendar and Family Handbook here.
The APJCC Preschool provides a developmentally appropriate program that is inspired by Jewish values, traditions, and celebrations, while welcoming families and staff of all ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Together we create a safe and healthy school environment that encourages children to wonder, explore, inquire, discover, and collaborate in their own learning. We build a community that is caring, nurturing, and supportive for all families.
