Event Navigation
Argentina Overview & History (Mar 1)
Start our journeys with an introduction to the country and then some history about its capital city; a rich melting pot of international cultures that has created the vibrant city it is today. Seeing a few of the iconic sites – such as the country’s Main Square and Evita Peron’s famous “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” balcony – in the city center is a perfect way to begin!
Northern Neighborhoods: Recoleta, Palermo, Retiro & More (Mar 8)
Visit “the French side” of the city with its posh, old-money building, lush parks & gardens, including one of the world’s most beautiful rose gardens. Even the famous cemetery of the district is fashionable! Then explore a charming, upscale, but artsy quarter.
Southern Sections: San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero & More (Mar 15)
Take a virtual stroll around “the Italian side” from the magical, cobblestone streets of its old town to the charming & colorful tin tenement houses of La Boca, both sharply contrasted by the city’s newest, most modern quarter.
Cultural Highlights: Food, Dance & Art (Mar 22)
Get a delicious perspective on the capital via today’s exploration of local culinary specialties. Then, learn about the famous and ubiquitous “Dance of Hugs.” Finally, take a short visit to the city’s Fine Arts Museum for a peek at some of its treasures.
