“I attended your Immigrant themed performance at the Addison-Penzak JCC and was lucky to have been chosen to share my Great Aunt Rose’s emigration story from the turn of the 20th century. Your performance blew me away, to a time and place I had often held in my imagination. You not only brought Rose to life, but having performers to symbolize her dowry and her mother country was a wonderful unexpected twist. Including a character that put myself into the her story at first confused me, but as my character developed, I was awed to see how I, almost a hundred years later, have become another essential part of the saga. When this somewhat abstract and beautifully powerful enactment ended, I was speechless, and moved to tears. I thank you from the fullness of my heart”. – Marla
