December 2nd @ 12:00pm - 4:00pm

Games, crafts, music, and dancing: these are just a few of the fun activities you can enjoy at “Menorahs and Miracles, a Hanukkah Celebration.” Join us and have fun honoring and sharing your own culture, or discovering the celebrations of your neighbors.

Menorahs and Miracles is held annually on the first Sunday in December at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, in partnership with the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center of Silicon Valley.

In addition to the museum’s hands-on exhibits, visitor will get to participate in Hanukkah-themed activities such as tasting traditional foods like latkes, making candles, and playing with dreidels.

Students from Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos will sing for visitors and the local affiliate of PJ Library will host a storytime reading books about Hanukkah.

Menorahs and Miracles is part of the museum’s cultural celebration series. The series is designed for families of all backgrounds to explore different cultures and traditions that are found in the South Bay.
