Our Russian Language programming is run by Rabbi Ilana Baird. Rabbi Ilana has served Jewish communities in Russia, Germany, Israel, and the United States.  She founded a liberal synagogue in Haifa and is a graduate of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion’s Israeli Rabbinical Seminary program. Escape Room: Virtual Art Museum Game (ages 10-14)

Sunday, July 19, from 10:00am-12:00 noon.
This event will be in English, and will be presented on Zoom.

Think you have what it takes to solve the puzzles and get out of this museum? Prove it! This is no ordinary museum. In order to move through the rooms of this museum, you must work together as a group to solve puzzles, answer riddles, and figure out how to enter the next room, and eventually get to the exit.

No previous art knowledge required! This event is for kids ages 10-14 years old.

Cost: Sliding scale. Choose $5 per child or $10 per child.

HEDER, for children 4-9 years old

HEDER is now meeting online! HEDER – (Hebrew Educational Extracurricular program for Russian-speaking kids) is a program designed to acquaint your children with the Jewish Culture and the Hebrew Language in an engaging learn-through-play format. The program is intended for children aged 4 -9 (split into two age groups: 4-6 years and 7-9 years) and will be conducted in Russian. We welcome, and encourage, parents to volunteer.  Additionally, as part of our program, we will celebrate Shabbat and Holidays together, inviting the community to join us in the festivities.

We meet once a month on Sundays during the school year.

Эти фильмы мы знаем и любим, но несмотря на это, каждый раз мы выносим что-то интересное и новое, открываем неизвестные стороны режиссеров и их творений. А иногда Борис открывает нам совершенно незнакомый мир кино, показывая киноленты неизвестные широкому зрителю. Программа на русском языке.
