Russian Jews of Silicon Valley

Our Russian Language programming is run by Rabbi Ilana Baird. Rabbi Ilana has served Jewish communities in Russia, Germany, Israel, and the United States.  She founded a liberal synagogue in Haifa and is a graduate of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion’s Israeli Rabbinical Seminary program. Club Mitzvah: Hanukkah Among Us!

Sunday, December 6 at 5:00pm

Join our pre-Hanukkah event! Children ages 10-13 will learn some Hanukkah related stories and play a virtual game together “Among Us” in order to socialize and make friends. Participants must have computer plus an additional device.

Наш ХЕДЕР продолжает занятия в партнерстве с Театральной Студией М.В. Фарбер – “Играем в Театр” (In-person)!

Мы приглашаем детей в две группы: Алеф (от 4 до 6 лет) c 10 до 11 утра и Бет (от 7 до 9 лет) с 11 утра до 12.
Группа Алеф будет играть в еврейский театр – тема “Театральные ИзТории”.
Группа Бет играет в театр на тему “По прямой линии от Царя Соломона”.

Мы поговорим о наших корнях, нашей истории в игровой форме. Дети будут играть в театр и мастерить поделки и костюмы с Наташей Бондарь. Занятия будут проводиться раз в месяц по воскресеньям в 10 утра (малыши) и 11 утра (старшая группа) в личном общении в маленьких группах!

We are starting to meet with our teens and pre-teens (ages 10 -14) on Zoom! 

Dates & Times: One Sunday per month during the school year, 5:00-6:00pm
Cost: This is a donation-based program. There is no charge, but we depend on your support.  To donate please visit apjcc.org/donate-form and choose Russian-Speaking Jewish Programs. Suggested donation: $25 per class, or $180 for the whole year.

Weekly Torah Study in Russian

Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:30am
Note: Weekly Torah Study is on hiatus due to the shelter-in-place order.
Come drink tea and enjoy learning Torah with Rabbi Ilana Baird.  All ages and knowledge backgrounds are welcome.
