Silicon Valley Jewish Music Festival
Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2:00-7:00pm
Enjoy live music, food, and family activities at this annual festival on the JCC field. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
The 2019 festival lineup will be announced soon. Last year’s performers included Jewish bluegrass band Nefesh Mountain, Israeli cover band The Peatot, and Book of J. We also had a second stage with local community performers including the Valley’s Song Choir (Shir HaEmek), the Yiddish Choristers of Congregation Etz Chayim, the Israel Scouts’ Caravalley singers, and others.
We also had food vendors and a wine & beer garden. Outdoor food vendors in 2018 included Casablanca Moroccan Food, Hot Dogs and Burgers from the House of Bagels cafe, JJ Magoo’s Pizza, Israeli House, Lemonade, Ice Cream, Popsicles. We recommend bringing along some cash for food, as most food vendors don’t accept credit cards.
Family activities in 2018 included sand and water play for kids, a mechanical surfboard, beach balls, beach games, arts and crafts, science experiments, decorate your own flip flops, make your own musical instrument, tie-dye shirts, bubbles, an Israeli shuk (market), and more. Come dressed in beachwear and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
Ticket prices for 2019 will be announced soon.
Parking: Free parking is available in the JCC’s parking lot.
